Refund Policy
This policy explains when and how you can get a refund for a UAP Intel subscription. It sits alongside our Terms of Service. We want you to be happy with the Service — if something has gone wrong, contact us and we will try to make it right.
Your Australian Consumer Law rights
UAP Intel is operated from Queensland, Australia. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Among other things, you are entitled to a remedy if the Service is not of acceptable quality, or is not as described. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces those rights — they apply in addition to anything set out here, and if there is any conflict, your non-excludable ACL rights prevail.
Consumer guarantees. Where the Service fails to meet a non-excludable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a refund, credit, or re-supply. These rights are not affected by this policy or by our Terms, and, depending on the failure, may go beyond the goodwill remedies described below.
Subscriptions
Paid tiers are recurring subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because you keep access for the rest of that period, we generally do not refund the unused portion of a billing period when you simply cancel — except where a consumer guarantee or another part of this policy applies.
Free trial
The free Trial gives you 10 questions per month at no charge. Because the Trial is free, there is nothing to refund. Upgrade to a paid tier at any time to unlock higher limits.
Duplicate or accidental charges
If you were charged twice for the same period, charged after cancelling, or charged by mistake, contact us and we will refund the incorrect charge. Just let us know the account email and the charge date.
Technical failures
If a paid feature is materially unavailable or broken for a meaningful part of your billing period, and we are unable to fix it within a reasonable time, we will provide a pro-rata refund or account credit for the affected period. Please report the problem to us so we can investigate and put it right.
Change of mind
We are not generally required to give refunds for a simple change of mind. As a goodwill gesture, however, we offer a 7-day change-of-mind window on your first-time subscription to a paid tier, provided the Service has not been substantially used during that time. If you qualify and ask within 7 days of your first payment, we will refund that charge. This goodwill window does not apply to renewals or to accounts that have already made significant use of the Service, and it is in addition to — not instead of — your ACL rights.
How to request a refund
Email contact@uapintel.info and include:
- the email address on your account;
- the date of the charge you are asking about; and
- a short note about what went wrong or why you are requesting a refund.
We aim to respond promptly and to resolve valid requests as quickly as we can.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are made back to your original payment method through our payment provider, Stripe. Once we process a refund, it usually appears within a few business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can almost always sort it out faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback before contacting us can lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated. We are happy to work with you directly to reach a fair outcome.
